The worlds of fictions are taking over the minds of kids today. I'm only in highschool, but every time i walk down the halls all I hear is talk about fictional characters especially from Twilight and Gossip Girls. I suppose when it comes to love, its different for everyone but at the same time, fictional characters seem to rule the youth of today.

I don't understand the hype about it. Its formulaic and not at all what vampires from the original writings are like. Personally, I prefer the actual evil ones like Lestat and Anne Rice. Everything is sugar coated and its warping the worlds views and morals. Twilight wasn't even that good. Its all two vampires obsessing over one girl which has been done before. In fact its almost exactly like Vampire Diaries minus the sparkling vampires.

Definetly. I hate how sugary and fairy tle like they make it. The sparkling vampires are what bugs the hell out of me. It's disgrace and shame to R E A L vampires everywhere. Atleast vampire diaries had an actual plot line.

Exactly. Sparkling vampires are *not* what the original vision entailed and while changes and uniquness are good in stories, there are some things you just don't mess with. But you also have to remember that vampires are works of fictions or mistaken diagnoses from the Medieval era when the medical discoveries like Porphyria, were thought of as Blasphemy in the eye of God.
